| General Description | Designed for students who have never learned English or have learned just a little. It is especially for students who have difficulty in listening and speaking. The course gives practice in speaking in an English-speaking environment. The focus is on grammar, writing, conversation, pronunciation, listening, reading and vocabulary. |
| Pre-requisites: | There are no English language pre-requisites, but students are expected to be literate in their own language. |
| Teaching Methods: | This course will be delivered using a combination of lectures, handouts, tutorials and practical exercises. |
